Salute Corona Warriors | NGP

New Delhi. India has been successfully fighting Corona Virus with the help of COVID-19 Warriors. IAF has been contributing towards the national effort to contain Corona by supporting mobility of men and material both at International and Domestic level. More than 600 tons of medical supplies and large number of people have been airlifted including Doctors, Para-medics and equipment for setting up COVID-19 testing labs. As a gratitude to all the Corona Warriors in India, NGP is planning to salute these brave warriors of India in its own unique way. As the planned fly past of the aircraft of the Indian Air Force is to salute the brave COVID-19 warriors, in the same way we have been tirelessly and selflessly working during these unprecedented times of corona virus pandemic to make the environment safe and clean by manufacturing eco-friendly paper bags with proper safety measures.

A fleet of military jets carried out a spectacular fly-past over the national capital as part of a nationwide exercise to express gratitude to lakhs of doctors, paramedics, sanitation staff and other front-line workers engaged in fighting the corona virus pandemic.

The military jets, including Sukhoi-30 MKI, MiG-29 and Jaguar, flew over Rajpath, Delhi’s centrepiece boulevard, and then orbited over the city for around 30 minutes from 11 am.

Premier transport aircraft C-130 also carried out a separate fly-past covering the Delhi and the NCR region. The aircraft flew at an approximate height of 500 metres to 1000 metres keeping aerospace safety in mind.

Chief of Defence Staff Gen Bipin Rawat announced that the three services will carry out a series of activities to thank the “corona warriors”
